Fairly clean and stylish hotel with neat rooms. Really nice building and rooms with nice decoration. Lots of food at the sensational breakfast. Early check in and terrific service. Late check-out.

Early check-in, decent size rooms with a bath, a good comfortable bed, as for instance. Good hot breakfast with a huge variety of choices.

Clean, great location, very friendly, good breakfast, all mod cons, perfect for short London trip. Left my phone charger and they returned it to my address without me asking or calling. Easy to understand why it wins awards.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from the beautiful Hyde Park and the bustling Oxford Street, made my city strolls so enjoyable. The friendly super nice team.

Small, calm and clean boutique hotel with friendly staff. Located in a calm & 'chique' neighbourhood nearby Green Park, just a 3 minute walk from the Marble Arch metro station.
Breakfast buffet and bathroom facilities were relatively sober (e.g., fairly limited amount and choice of food and no blowdryer in the bathroom). Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Polite and helpful staff
Shower has little water. Sometimes only hot water, some times only cold water. Impossible to take a bath without killing oneself. Room on top floor.

Location, decor, comfort, style, service and overall mood were excellent. Staff friendly and attentive; breakfast slightly limited but not a deal breaker. Room cleaned well; shower, etc attractive and functioned well; towels noted for softness.
TV reception unfortunately limited to certain channels only; fault reported and investigated conscientiously but to no avail. This fault marred an otherwise pleasant stay, but the staff were enthusiastic at attempting to solve it and highly apologetic and gracious in defeat.

The hotel is more than worth its price. I would put it on the first place among all small hotels due to its great location (10 mins to anywhere on a cab or tube), spacious enough room and excellent breakfast. But most of all you feel that all the details are very well worked out and being looked after. We really were impressed!

The Sumner offers a great central location just minutes from Marble Arch and Oxford Street, and the staff are friendly. The room was a bit cramped, and the bathroom could use some updates. Breakfast was lovely but could have had more variety. A pleasant experience despite minor hiccups.

Had a lovely time during my 4-night stay in the spacious executive room where I enjoyed the cozy lounge and cool terrace. There were plenty of relaxation spots, but the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times. It was a great experience, and I'd recommend checking out the breakfast spread! 🍽️
